Inside Look: The Gaiter Hoodie

You know we're all about customization and creativity at FPS. About 5-6 years ago now we launched our #1 product of all time, the custom lined hoodie.

The sweatshirt featured a customized sublimated hood liner and it took the promo world by storm, winning 2017 Wearables Apparel Design Award as the  best sweatshirt of the year. With a minimum of just 24 pieces, a quick production time of 2-3 weeks, and a competitive price point; it was a no-brainer item for company stores, employee gifts, retail web stores, and much more. 

The craziness of 2020 has shifted our focus from creativity to safety. Our production lines shifted to masks and other wellness items for much of this year. We even created FPS Wellness, a new division focused on keeping employees safe by supplying PPE isolation gowns and other products.

Now we're working to bridge the gap between custom apparel and wellness. That's where our brand new Gaiter Hoodie comes in. We wanted to give you an in-depth look at this awesome new product.

1. It's built in!

How does the gaiter hoodie work? It's our popular Made in USA gaiter, sewn into our classic pullover fleece. When you pop the pullover over your head, your head slides through the built-in gaiter, offering you the option of covering your face. The elastic on top of the gaiter ensures a comfortable snug fit. 

2. Customize it.

Possibly the best part of the Gaiter Hoodie is the ability to custom sublimate the gaiter itself. Full color, full coverage sublimation gives maximum impact of your brand, business, or logo. Add a front screen print to complete the look.

3. Need a small quantity?

It's a completely custom, unique item but you can give it a try it in small quantities. Order as few as 24 pieces. This isn't an overseas project that requires 500+ units. 

4. Speedy production.

By using a stock hoodie, customizing the gaiter, and sewing it in, we're able to complete your custom Gaiter Hoodie in 2-3 weeks. Front imprint adds an additional week or so. No waiting 90+ days for this project to complete. 

5. Enlist a designer. 

At FPS our design team is like no other. Our art team will take a simple, bland logo and turn it into a creative gaiter hoodie. Just shoot over your logo to a sales rep to get started. Virtual mockups are always free of charge.
